Abstract:
Introduction: Crohn's disease belongs to a group of conditions known as idiopathic inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). The purpose of this review was to list information about Crohn's disease that occurs in pediatric patients.
Methodology: The study material has recently been articles on the topic were found mainly in the electronic database Medline and the Association of Greek Academic Libraries (HEAL-Link).
Results:Crohn's disease is a chronic inflammatory disease that can involve any part of the gastrointestinal tract. usually infects the enteric helices, although it can occur in any degree in the digestive tract, from the mouth to the rectum. Individuals suffering fromCrohn's disease, posing a chronic inflammation of the gastrointestinal route. The disease affects any fate of the digestive tract. Finding is likely to change in affected segments intestinal tissue, healthy tissue sections. Conclusions: Crohn's disease is considered a year means that there will be for the duration of human life. H treatment is medication, nutrition and surgery. The aim of health professionals is to improve children's health quality and the immediate restoration of health.
